BC game is going to tell us a lot.
They are bringing back a strong defensive team who isn't going to be
intimidated by the fact that NU is part of the BT.
We're going to have to be able to run the ball in order to win this game
and we haven't done that very well for a couple of years. I also expect
that Persa won't be running the ball as much as he did last year, so the
O Line and one of our backs is going to have to figure out how to take
up the slack.
I've got this game in my loss column in both the pessimistic and
optimistic projection.
As I've said before, Persa is going to be the key to what happens this
season. If he comes back strong, quick, and confident - this team will
do well and he will be a Heisman candidate. We've got a good set of
receivers for him to throw to. Hopefully that will loosen up the
defense enough to allow us to run the ball better too. Optimistically
assuming that Persa returns strong and stays healthy, the difference
between a good season and a great season will depend on how the defense
holds up.

I predict that we will surprise people this season as long as we can
stay
away from serious injuries.
