[NU Sports] Persa for Heisman

I took my 7 and 9 year old boys to the NU-Purdue game last year.  We spent
the week-end in Evanston.  We went to every store in town looking for a #7
jersey in their size.  We found only 1.  There were lots of larger ones
available.  Why?, I asked.  I was told the NU co-eds had bought them out all
over town.  They all wanted a tight-fitting #7 jersey.

Lesson for the NU athletic department:  sell 3 1/2 pound weights (3 1/2 + 3
1/2 = 7) in lavender as well.

Yeah, me too.  If the NU athletic department marketing guy is on the ball
(and it seems like he is), they'll find a way to make those available via
mail order.  Selling them at the stadium might not as good an idea, except
maybe only on the way out.

I wonder if NU monitors the list these days?  (I know someone at the
Nebraska athletic department monitors the Husker List, usually one of the
graduate assistants.)
