[NU Sports] Kafka still #3 at Eagles

So Philly, the team some of us love to hate, hired Vince Young to back up Vick for 2011
keeping Mike Kafka in a firm #3 spot for next year.

Vick did have his career year last season, but Young has been a bit of disappointment. The
bright spot for Philly fans in all this is that Young's playing style is similar to Vick's
- they won't need another playbook for the backup.

But most of us remember that Kafka's forte during his early days at NU was also running
for daylight. It was only his last year when he suddenly "developed" a long passing game
(altho most who had seen him early at NU knew he could air it out if needed).

I don't run in the Iggle circles around here, so I don't know what the fans are saying off
the radio, but Philly let their #2 go to another team in favor of a backup who can
scramble. 

We all know that Kafka can run with the best, but there are still all those passes in the
bowl game to consider.
