I believe Shurna declaring for the draft is more about getting contact with
the NBA scouts and figuring out where he is now (most likely not a draft
pick, since there are only 2 rounds) and what he needs to improve before
next year. You can tell when players are doing this when they specifically
do not hire an agent, since that is what forces one to forfeit their college
eligibility (in fact, one could even actually be drafted and come back to
college as long as they don't sign a contract and actually play). As this
is the case, I don't blame him at all for testing the waters.
