< Oriole Park was packed with businesses who bought huge blocks of seats. 
Now that the tax situation in MD is more anti-biz, the number of seats owned 
by businesses is way down. The Nationals in DC and a losing record doesn't 
help either. (or the presence of the team on TV every night in HD)

Attendance at Oriole Park had dipped long before the Nationals came to town. 
By the way, every time the Phillies play in Washington, it is literally a 
Phillies home game minus about 30,000 because Washington is not supporting 
the Nationals and won't until they start to win.

< Oklahoma had a waiting list to get on the waiting list. You had to 
contribute to the athletic dept to get on the first list then hope. The only 
seat in the stadium harder to get was a space in the broadcast booth.

And except for a brief period in the late 90s, Oklahoma has always been a 
perenniel winner and candidate for the national championship.
