Exactly. By the end of the year, we'll be ranked about where we deserve to be. 

FWIW, I'd generally put more faith in the Sagarin ratings than most human 
polls--at least by the end of the year. Right now, they're heavily biased by 
pre-season priors. 

But as you get to the end of the season, I think you'd find that the Sagarin 
Predictor ratings fare pretty well. Actually, I wonder if anyone's done a study 
of those versus bowl-game results? Will have to dig around.
