I was encouraged that we ran the ball better in the 2nd half; Arby had 3, maybe 4 carries in which he needed 2,3 yards to get a first down; every time we moved the sticks.
Another point- Fitz game plan was to play 67.68 guys and wear 'em down. Done to perfection. As I was on wgnradio.com, it sounded like Persa got a lot of help from our ground game last night.
Demos was El Perfecto. This was a most satisfying win; especially in the 2nd half. Only a fumble at Rice's goal line prevented a lopsided score; still, up 30-6 with the opposition totally demoralized is what we've all been looking for in these non-conference road games for a long time.
