Hopefully, if Danny P. keeps rockin', he'll start to gain recognition in national press.  Tomorrow night is a big "hump" game for this team.   If we can win this one, we are really on our way, and the confidence should continue to grow.  But it worries me.  I have the same feelings I had before Duke a few years back, and 'Cuse last year.  I hope we don't lay another egg on the road against an opponent which, on paper, we should handle.  A big key is going to be Demos.  We need to convert FG's and PAT's, as misses or blocks fire up the home team and its fans.  And please, Mr. McCall, send Arby between the tackles, and take those slow-developing sweeps and option plays involving No. 19, and shove them.

Although no TV, as has been noted by many of us, at least game is after conclusion of Yom Kippur, for those of us (like Yours Truly) of the Hebrew persuasion.:-)   So I'll atone for my sins, and then hunker down with wgn.com, as in the "bad old days" before Cablevision picked up BTN.
