[NU Sports] Marquice Cole

Wootton did make the Bears' 53-man roster, but got a little dinged up before
the final preseason game, so he didn't play then and is also unlikely to
play during the first regular season game, but he will likely be available
shortly.

Basanez is currently out of the NFL after being cut by the Bears this
offseason.  He is currently doing some radio in Chicago covering the Bears
(on ESPN 1000AM, I believe) and he was actually also in the BTN booth a
little while for the NU-ISU game yesterday.  I know a couple of years ago he
also expressed a desire to get into coaching (he's also done some offseason
advising with NU's last two QBs: Kafka and Persa).  So, don't be surprised
to see him around either in a coaching role or on TV/radio.
