[NU Sports] Marquice Cole

 There's a big article (cover story) in NY TIMES SUNDAY MAGAZINE about Rex Ryan of the Jets.  He has a great quote about Marquice Cole, who is described as a "reserve cornerback, whose practice shorts are generally worn so low on the posterior that they appear to be a gravitational anomaly."

Here's Coach Ryan's quote:

"Some people have a problem with that," Ryan says, "Hell, he's a great kid.  Funny eyes, half-closed.  Looks like he was up all night or something.  But he surprised everybody last year.  Smart!  Northwestern!"

Gotta love it!

P.S.:  Can anybody tell me why Corey Wooton is not listed on Bears' Depth Chart in Chicago Tribune?  I know he made the Roster, so what's the story?  

P.P.S.:  Watched game today at well-attended, enthusiastic gathering of NU alums from Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT at Buffalo Wild Wings in Stamford, CT.  Question arose as to whether Brett Basanez is still in NFL.  I looked him up in Wikipedia, and it seems like his last listing was Injured Reserve for Da Bears.  Anybody out there have an update?
