ESPN3 predictably lousy, but as the years go by, its gotten better, slowly. For the Rice game, I just may have to do what I did in yesteryear; when the Cats played night games I'd sit in the car; turn on 720 (and a HELL of a long time ago) 780, and have my wife fetch me beer and snacks. I'd call it kitchen to curb service:)
Not much I can add about our win; heart-stopping as usual; was upset leaving 4 easy points on the field and the anemic running game less Persa. The only light at the end of the tunnel was on the last drive when Fields ran for 5 and Schmidt ran for 6; that may have gave both our backs some confidence. As our astute list has noted, both runs were between the tackles. My guess is that McCall wants to run the option so defenses won't key on Persa?
Also liked those fine announcers on Saturday night.:) Dispensers of B.S. to be sure.
GO CATS!!! Eric

I hope that's the last time I have to watch a game on ESPN3. Poor picture
quality, too many lost bitstreams, a 21-inch low-def screen instead of a 54-inch
high-def, and 2,000 too many commercials for the latest Wall Street movie.
What is the scuttlebutt on which channel will carry the Rice game?
