Glad the Cats were able to provide a lift this weekend Paul.
Also, I'm thinking the Persa fan club got a little bigger last night in Wildcat land?
Re. The running game....I could only listen on radio, but it sounded more like an Oline problem than an RB problem, but hard to tell without seeing it. Thoughts?
Obviously Arby needs to stop running backwards.
Finally, was anyone else thinking it was too soon for Vandy to go for two that first time? Came back to hurt them.
Mediocre performance but a great win, if that makes sense.
Tom

Subject: [NU Sports] We Had The Edge
We had a "twelfth" man today, and that was the difference. Saul Levinson is smiling up in Heaven. It had to be him who pushed the Vandy 4th Quarter FG attempt wide and then caused the fumble on the 2-point conversion try. Of course, I am at a loss to explain our screw-ups on FG block and PAT fumble?
Seriously, as I texted my son, I really needed this win emotionally. Tomorrow is dad's funeral, and I didn't want to be up all night thinking about how we blew this one.
Thanks, friends, for your support.
Paul Levinson (Proud Son; Proud 'Cat)
