    Topic #1: The NU flag was hung (with care) in front of the house this afternoon.  It's Christmas Eve, my friends!
   Topic #2: Prognostication:  The line has fluctuated between 3-5 pts.; I saw that NU was favored by 4 today.  Not a good game to lay cash on, but on our list I say we cover, but it could be a game that won't be decided until late; both the w/l and the line.  
   I see a 23-14 Cat win; Demos will get immediate relief by not worrying about punting.  Our defense will have no trouble holding this gang in check, regardless if their good running back Norman plays.  Danny-boy will do more right than wrong but throw a pick or two, but he'll also do a couple of things that will make our jaws drop.
   We'll look good, not great, which will be more than we need against a team that lost its best coach they've had in years, and took a bighuge step backwards. (Note to English pros, bighuge is a word I just made up).
   Topic #3: THANKS to Mike Nolan for this list.  If I'm not on vacation, not a day is missed when I "check in".  A hearty THANKS is warranted on Christmas Eve.
   Topic #4:  Fellow list member Brad Wilson wrote a terrific article on Dan Persa.  Reminder: Brad is a sportswriter in the Lehigh Valley where Persa is from.  Like a putz, I forget the link, but I think its Lehighvalley.com, or better yet, there is a link on ESPN Big 10 Blog; lunchtime links.  Thanks Brad!!:)
   Topic #5:  Can you tell I'm "pumped" about a P-A boy starting for our Cats?
   Topic #6:  I need to get this out of my system:  "...AAAAAAAH  GOOOOO CATSSSS!!!"  Man, I can't wait for tomorrow night!
