[NU Sports] Maybe it is just me but ...

When I worked at Oklahoma - it was at the end of the Switzer era, and most of their biz
school were NU guys.

The OU folks were always impressed that I had gradumated from that top flight school in
Chicago, but they felt sorry for our N***** coach and how we just couldn't seem to play
decent ball. At the time, I doubt anyone from NU would have been offered a job to coach at
OU (FWIW) even though Denny Green was still considered a top flight football mind.

How times have changed, with Wilson and Co - all Walker Alums running the offense for the
Sooners.

BTW - nobody used the N-word when referring to coach Green, but you could see it in their
eyes when they felt sorry for me.

I got over it.

I'm not sure of the academics. Curious what the average GPA or SAT scores are for their
football team (as well as graduation rate). I bet it wouldnt make them 12th in the
conference

Secondly not sure who you ran into in San Antonio but I found their fans before, during
and after the game very polite. It didn't make up for the drubbing we took but I at least
smiled knowing a good fan base could celebrate.

I can tell you I have run into a bunch of Sooner fans watching games on TV and only Domers
and Trojans are worse

Yuck on Nebraska. Didn't want them in the league and don't want to play them. Don't like
them in NU's division.

Why? Well, the Alamo Bowl was part of it; the Husker people I ran into were jerks.

But Nebraska instantly becomes the weakest academic link in the league and suddenly NU has
to play them every season? No thanks. Bring back Penn State.

Other than Nebraska I don't mind the divisions too much.
