[NU Sports] Today

[Weinbaum, Willie]

Was covering US Open Tennis in my first year at ESPN.  After NU's Todd Martin played that day, my question at his press conference - - the first one anyine asked - - was about NU's defeat of ND (he embraced that in a big way :)). 

I had watched the game in a satellite truck on-site.

Unforgettable.
