Now THAT team knew how to run the ball!

I still remember how much confidence NU played with that day.  ND made
all the mistakes.  The NU defense hung tough series after series.

As great as this win was, it was really the UoM game a few weeks later
that confirmed to the country that ND win was not a fluke.
