Yes, ND lost. 

They were in field goal range, and had the backup QB try to throw one into the 
endzone, where Tulsa intercepted (great play by the DB). All ND needed was to 
kick a moderate range FG, and apparently their kicker hasn't missed in ages. 
Oops. 

Dayne Crist (ND starting QB) is out for the year with a knee injury (according 
to the crawl on ESPN).
