Mizzou and MSU are experiencing the horror story of what happens in cornland personally this Halloween weekend. Two more unbeatens look to be going down after BRUTAL first quarters.

What does this mean for the Big Ten?

Well, it's looking like we'll give the new B(C)S-error, er, era tiebreaks a test this year, as the league appears headed for a three-way pileup at the top.

Should the Hawkeyes beat the Buckeyes next month, the Iowa/MSU/Wisky tie sorts itself out nicely. The Hogeyes have the Zona loss to knock them out and Sparty beat Wisky, so Roses for Roided Up Mascots.

But if the Buckeyes run the table with the Badgers and tie with Sparty at 11-1, we're at the mercy of the B(C)S standings, and while I'm not sure who would be ahead between Bucky and the Bucks after November's schedule, I'm pretty sure MSU is the odd man out of both the tiebreak at the top and the at-large selection for the B(C)S. So they better root for Iowa to roll the rest of the way.

It's getting ugly in the cornland.

GO CATS!!!
