[NU Sports] CB Rucker is back at MSU

I was wondering how they account for the kids on crutches that you see
on both sidelines in most every college football game.  

It was remarkably difficult to find the rules because they appear to
vary from conference to conference.

I went to the BigTen.org site and couldn't find conference rules
anywhere.

Too many opportunities for hanky panky if you can take a bunch of
players
and then decide AFTER YOU GET THERE which ones to suit up.

I think players who are medically unable to play are sometimes brought
along as 'assistants'.
