I agree with all of your statements.  Let's see if Adonis is the real deal--and a building block.  

And a loss at IU would set us up for a disheartening downward spiral.

Having failed to at least split the 2-game home stand I think this weekend's 
game is a must-win for our post-season hopes. I know that's not mathematically 
true but we need to get back on track. Indiana has less of a running game than 
we do so this game might play out more like 7-man football. 

I realize how ridiculous it is for alumni to making coaching decisions on 
list-servs but I personally would like to see Adonis Smith start on Saturday. 
I'd like to see him get 25+ carries and be given a chance to show what he can 
do. He's the only running back on the team who has shown any kind of spark.

Regardless of who starts in the backfield, we need this one.
