[NU Sports] I'm joining the Amish sect.

NU loses its 2nd game in a row in heart breaking, excruciating fashion. The Phillies get knocked out by a bunch of cast-offs/banjo hitters. I thought of becoming Amish, but no TV would be too hard of a pill to swallow, and they don't drink beer, except Birch.
Damn the luck. Regardless, GO CATS!! Eric

Again a little sidelight would be to ask ho come the MSU guy scored the final
touchdown rather than taking a knee at the 5 or wherever ? A knee would have
allowed MSU to take a few more knees and clinch the win. Instead the final TD
allowed us to have a shot with a minute to go of tying the game. Obviously it
didn't matter

As soon as the weather got better we started losing. I honestly think this was
key. MSU had a tough time passing with a wet ball. Once it was dry they worked
us like a fiddle. Yes how could we fall for the fake when they beat ND on one ?
But had it continued to rain we would have pulled the upset

At halftime Fitz was asked what his team needed to do in the 2nd half.
His answer was: finish.
Unfortunately, that was what they DIDN'T do--again!
I really HATE losing to Sparty!! I'm not sure that the announcers on ESPN
didn't
cheer louder than the MSU fans in Evanston when they took the lead.
BTW, with Penn State's win today, if they can win at home next week against
Michigan they will be playing the Cats at home looking for JoePa's 400th
victory.
