When we were first messing with TV at NU, and trying to figure out all the things you
could do with that 3 camera setup down in the basement, did we ever think they'd be able
to do things like the yellow and blue (and red) line AND that neat down and goal arrow
with the play clock counting down?

NU's computer played chess, and it occupied a giant room under Tech - or was it on the
east side of Tech.

When I started announcing football games here in Seaford, we didn't even have the orange
yard markers every 10 yards. Still don't have hash marks. And that yellow line on TV is a
godsend when you're watching.
