[NU Sports] Could Northwestern emulate Iowa's Black and Gold
Saturday?

Hey, I'd just be happy if they handed out purple poms or towels!
That was the only disappointment from the non-game aspect Saturday - we had such a pumped crowd that we needed something to wave or shake for the TV cameras.
However, since ALL of the west side (not just students) now stands on third down, I will give it a pass. :) That alone made my day from the non-game aspect.
As for Iowa's black/gold stands (Boise State does it with three colors), it looked pretty cool. But not quite the PSU White Out. I'd love to see an all-purple Ryan Field some day ... but for now, standing on third down will suffice. :)
GO CATS!!!
