We wouldn't recommend Jack's BBQ. We went to the trinity lane location and found it considerably inferior to recent BBQ experiences in Tulsa, Tampa and San Antonio.

I'll second (or third or fourth?) the Pancake Pantry suggestion. We went the morning of the NU/Vanderbilt game, waited an hour in line, but it was worth it.
Also, be aware that Rotier's is not open on Sunday. Our Nashville host had promised us that after eating there, all other cheeseburgers would feel vastly inferior. Unfortunately, we tried to go the day after the game and found it closed. Instead, we ate bbq downtown at Jack's B-B-Q and then enjoyed some live music at The Stage. Both good experiences.
