Here's some of what Jim Leonard posted back in August about Nasvhille

Here are some other things to consider while in Nashville.
- The Pancake Pantry on 21st ave. (in a neighborhood called Hillsboro Village)
is legendary. You'll be in the tourist crowd standing in line but the pancakes
are awesome.
- The honky-tonk bars are on lower Broadway (use 412 Broadway as an address on
Google maps). Legends Corner and Tootsie's are the most well known but really
the musical talent is the same everywhere. I personally like The Stage and
Second Fiddle. Some of the new ones across the street are OK too, but the
Trailer Park is a dump.
- Rotiers is a legendary greasy spoon about 75 yards from the Vanderbilt
Marriott. The burgers are tasting, but don't bring health nuts and vegetarians.
- If anyone wants an expensive dinner there's a place called Margot's in my old
neighborhood (East Nashville) that is awesome. Also over in East Nashville
there's a local joint called the Family Wash that makes an awesome Shepherd's
pie and has good local music.
