The bias claim isn't against the program, it's against the HUMAN LOGIC that 
was used to create the program.  

The fact is that the computer rankings used by the BCS don't produce the
same results, because various program consider some factors more 
important than others.  The bias (if there is any) is in the selection 
and weighting of those factors.  

And the BCS itself has contributed to that perception of bias, by 
disallowing any computer rankings that include margin of victory.

Yeah, and as little as 2 years ago you would probably have said there 
was NO WAY that Nebraska would EVER join the Big Ten.  They weren't 
even on the 'short list'.  

If/when a playoff system occurs (and I think it is more a case of when
than if), it is likely to come with little warning, and probably only 
enough advance notice to deal with the TV contractual issues.  

As Deep Throat might have said, follow the money.  You know the BCS will!
