Kickers who suck generally don't get short-listed for the Lou Groza award,
which Demos was pre-season.  

Last year Demos was 18/25 on field goals, which put him 30th on
the list in terms of field goals/game.  This year he is 8/13, and is 
36th.

The loss wasn't Demos's fault, because NU shouldn't have been in the 
position of needing a long FG to tie the game.  

BTW, last year Northwestern was 98th in punting, with a 34.97 yard
average and 115th in net punting, averaging 31.65 net yards. 

This year NU is 69th in punting with a 40.31 yard average and is
36th in net punting, averaging 37.92 yards.
