*Sigh* Who said it was the end of the world? That's reacting to a straw man.
Believe it or not, it is possible to be both happy with a 5-1 record and
extremely frustrated with a loss to a bad team, especially since it
continues a trend of losing when we are getting attention. I think Teddy
Greenstein wrote that we're now 1-8 in our last nine games as a ranked
team. Doesn't that seem like a problem that could be fixed?
Earth to those saying "chicken littles" -- no one is asking for anyone
to be fired. I wouldn't scoff at a 6-6 season, as long as we win that
bowl game. That's the team's goal, as it has been for years now. It's my
standard for their success as well.
To wildelk2: you're right, Indiana was 2008. Last year was Syracuse.
This year, Purdue. The pattern has held so far. Wouldn't it be nice to
break it?
I'm looking forward to this week's Pat Fitzgerald Show, the first one
after a loss. I bet *he's* frustrated about it, and why shouldn't he be?
Why shouldn't anyone?
