[NU Sports] Post-game thoughts?

Do we really think that Persa had a bad night? He was 30 for 41 for
305 yards and no interceptions. That's 7.4 yards per attempt and 10.2
yards per completion.

I thought the bigger problem on offense is that we tried to run too
much when we just don't have a good running game. We attempted the
same number of carries as Purdue (42), but had only 84 rushing yards
(2 per carry) compared with 232 for Purdue (5.5 per carry). We rushed
one more time than we passed. It seems we just need to face the fact
that we don't have a rushing game and throw the ball a lot more than
we run. Isn't that how we won games last year, and how we've won
games so far this year?

(We did have a number of sacks, and I haven't figured how those play
into the above numbers, but I think the point would be the same even
if you took out the sacks.)
