It was an ugly game last night. Cutler and Collins were hurt. Cutler seemed impaired from almost the first offensive series. Barry did an embarrassing dance.
I know that football is a violent game. This one seemed to exceed my tolerance.

That thought flashed across my Raven's win addled mind while watching the Iggles/deadskins
game. (Old time Giants fans just can't cheer for either team - don't know what will happen
when Kafka finally starts for the Iggles)
Even more impressive was Barry C's play last night against daBares. Barry isn't running
around the backfield because he is almost always double teamed. When the interior linemen
of daBares missed the block or singled up on BC, he was in the QB's face. He had to play
the entire game because of injuries to 2 fellow linemen. I thought he had a superior time
out there against daBares.
Too bad about the Iggles going after Garcia. Kafka would be in the same situation as Joe
Flacco - and wouldn't that be a great NU success story.
Go Cats! In the Pros.

Michael Vick is out with a rib injury, his return today is questionable, and
I suspect the Eagles are going to call plays for the rest of the game that
keep Kevin Kolb as safe as possible.
But if Kolb goes down, Mike Kafka is the only other QB on the Eagles roster,
so he could see his first NFL action.
