[NU Sports] A NU tradition

Sons and Daughters,  

The 2010 regular season is over and the 7-5 Wildcats are heading to their third 
straight bowl game (a first for NU). Looking back to my freshman year when the 
idea of a single bowl was improbable the reality of a third consecutive bowl is 
an amazing accomplishment. 


You may already know that this Thursday, December 2nd is Coach Fitzgerald's 
birthday. I propose to start a NU tradition to say thanks to Coach Fitz for a 
job well done. Every true fan knows that Fitz wore #51 when he played for the 
Cats. On December 2nd I plan to make an online donation of $51 to Northwestern. 


If you are able to spare $51 for our alma mater than I encourage you to join me.
