I also had a fractured wrist (I think it was a Collies Fracture). I was released for
"duty" exactly 4 weeks later - with no further damage, altho I didn't go roller skating
any more that year.

Not sure what the football prognosis is on that kind of injury, but they can put a soft
cast on something like that and have the player available the week before the game.

Provided the doctor signs off.

First off, Trumpy reportedly had a non-surgical fracture in is wrist and
should be back for the bowl game, although with approximately 5 weeks there
is a long way to go until then.
