The announcers (McDonough and Millen) are talking about changing coaches at UMich.? Does RichRod survive today's debacle against tOSU?? They are now down 37-7.? He will now have perfect record (in reverse) vs. their two biggest rivals (MSU and Bucks, who will share BT Title).? Without their win over Domers, I think RR would be dead, but that might buy him one more year.? Their program has regressed so much from days of Carr., let alone Bo.? UM football used to start with great "D", but those days are long gone.? They have no identity at this point and simply cannot compete against Tressel at this point.? I can't see how their administration and alumni base are going to let that go on much longer, especially with Dantonio beginning to control the State for recruiting purposes, and with the addition of Nebraska next year--in same division as the Wolves.? Their future certainly doesn't look bright--even with Dennard Robinson at QB.

Subject: [NU Sports] Moo moo Purdoo ...
Either Purdon't changed their colors to gold and brown or they've been letting
the Golden Girls graze more often than usual because that field at Ross-Ade
Stadium is AWFUL!
Seriously, that is the worst field I've seen since the Saints/Bears game in
Soldier Field a decade or so ago that was played the day after a mud bowl high
school game that tore it up. What's Purdue's excuse? Just embarrassing.
Around the league ...
* MSU and OSU are looking impressive and sadly, I expect the same from Bucky. I
think two of those teams will be left wishing that the Big Ten Championship Game
had come a year earlier by the end of the day.
* The third team, WISCONSIN, will probably wish they'd have a playoff system in
place already - I'd love to see Oregon vs. Wisconsin for the title!
* Wild games yesterday ... should have known the SEC bureaucracy would never let
Auburn lose (look for a ton of flags against Spurrier next week to erase any
upset hopes). CBS and SEC are shameless in their shilling of their marquee teams
and I expect today's boot game to be a non-stop commercial for LSU's BCS bid.
Gary Danielson used to have credibility.
* Wild night in Nevada ... I'm still not certain that field goal at the end of
regulation missed (kind of like PSU fans still feel today about that kick in
1995's NU-PSU game in the 3rd quarter) ... too bad, because I was hoping the
voters would leapfrog OSU over Bucky so the Ohio State and Boise State
presidents could meet in Pasadena.
Still looks like we're solid for two B(C)S teams and that the Cats are headed to
Texas ... likely Dallas, which I guess is still preferable to Houston. Just so
we get a winnable game!
Hoping against hope we can pull a shocker in Madison!
GO CATS!!!
