[NU Sports] is Trumpy out?

I have a question for everyone--call me a "cock-eyed optimist", to quote Rodgers and Hammerstein.? Somehow I expect NU--and Watkins in particular--to show up better (and earlier) on the big stage this week--despite the daunting odds.? Do I really anticipate a win?? No, but in contrast to the Wrigleyville Classic, all of the pressure this time around is on Bucky, not Willie.? Nobody expects us to even come close--last time I looked the oddsmakers had us as 24 1/2 point 'dogs.? So why not come out foot loose and fancy-free, and play "up", instead of "down"?? I think Fitz and Hank will have their "young men" ready to rumble, and we will hang tougher than anyone expects.? And I look for Quentin Davie, in his last BT game, to play like a monster.? He has not played as well over second half of season--don't know if he is hurt--but it's time for the first-half of season dominator to show up.

Now for the question:? If we somewhow pull off one of the upsets of the year--and Illinois loses to Fresno State and RichRod again falls to Tressel--both very realistic scenarios--what bowl do the 'Cats go to?

OK, Listers, fire away--can our boys make it to the Insight, so that SJT finally gets his fervent wish?? Or do they do the "Texas Two-Step" in Houston?

I like that analogy to 1994 - I remember that game well. Hope Jim L. is right!
