[NU Sports] Lead Article in NY TIMES

The Toledo Blade ran a similar big article from the AP.  90% of the article was about the field 10% about the game.  This is very interesting because the Blade only covers NU when we play one of the Michigan teams or OSU.  
 
If I'm any kind of college football fan, I'm tuning into this game just to see what it looks like because the articles make it sound like we aren't going to see another game here for a while.  It will be interesting to see how this game compares with others on ESPNU this season.
 
I trust that our boys will show up ready to play.  Hopefully we can run the ball a little to take the pressure off Watkins and give him a chance to settle in.  This is where the Oline and receivers have to step up and show that this is a team game.

"NOT AS FRIENDLY FOR FOOTBALL" is the huge banner across top of my NY TIMES SPORTS SECTION this morning.? We overshadow Arms/ND article (and game) at Yankee Stadium, which is getting a lot of publicity in "the Apple".
