Further proof that Wrigley has worked ...

At school today, two staff members came up to chat about the game ... how cool it would be to see football at Wrigley Field, how bizarre the one end zone will be, etc. 

In Arizona.

One's a Bucknut, yes, but the other's a Pac 10 guy.

I don't think we'll ever play there again (hopefully not after the end zone thing), but for a one-time attention-grabber, it's certainly working.

Aside from the 25,000 new folks who have a Cam Newton story and Auburn's denials that "they are (snicker) a place of (cough) learning and hon (ahem) honor" ... NU has been the top story in college football across the country this week.

And the shots of the iconic marquee in purple and all the signs in purple with "CHICAGO'S Big Ten Team" look sweet.

Now let's hope the kid settles down in the backfield and we give them a show while everyone's watching. :)
