[NU Sports] Mandel doesn't like the change in the Wrigleyville rules

Reasons why the field is configured east-west instead of north-south (like
the Bears did until they moved out after the 1970 season):

- Recently, seats have been added in left field (along the baseline) which
make it impossible to fit the field in that direction.
- Also, in 1970 (and before) the NFL field end zones were just 8 yards deep.
- And the field had the southeast corner of the south end zone cut off by
the 1st base dugout.

The Cubs and NU did an extensive analysis and this east-west configuration
was the only way the field would fit. And, everyone was made aware of the
dimensions months before this was all approved (the conference & both
universities signed off on it before it was officially announced).
