Perhaps I am error on that one. But it sure looks lousy having to have every change in possession seem like the end of a quarter

Someone who is up to full speed on a deep pass might be more likely
to bash against the wall.

Changing the direction mid-possession would REALLY mess with the pace
of the game, which could work against Northwestern's fast-paced offense.

Would you change it back if a sack took you outside of the red zone?

Ah, well, hopefully we'll blow them out by 4 touchdowns and it won't matter.
