Just when we thought the fun was over for the weekend, how about this : South Dakota St. 77 Io_a 69 in Men's Basketball. Even South Dakota State takes their w! This will make watching the paint dry even more dreary, and extra Old Milwaukee is the only way the fine folks of Iowa will get by.
Great win on Saturday. I predicted a loss, but my prognostications weren't all wrong. I predicted an orange Crash-n-burn commenced in Champaign; "The New Michigan State" did nothing to make me eat my words. Persa may be better than Baz, who I consider the best QB since I've been following NU since 1978. Persa got "The Big One" he needed to propel him with esteemed company. Providing he's back 100%, next year's team will be knocking on the BCS door.
Before I go, this guy was terrific with little to show: Mike Kerrigan, who went on to re-write the CFL record books.
Awesome having Lee, Kirk and Desmond in the house next weekend. Believe me, if you are in the 15-30 age group, this is a VERY big deal. And the last time I looked, 18-22 year olds playy the game (except at Ioa, OSU and SEC conference:)
Later, Eric

May I say -- and I say this with genuine affection -- that every family
needs a contrarian. Always enjoy your takes, Mr. Herron!
Alan you are being way too generous, if anybody does not think a win over
Iowa and a feature on the national network and a sell out in the friendy
confines is a good thing then crawl back in your cave and let the rest of us
bask in a little sunshine
