I have no doubt that one day Dan Persa will be an awesome coach. Given his 
injury he can now treat the reason of the season as a coaching internship. I 
have no doubt that he will do everything possible to have Evan ready for 
Illinois on Saturday. Is an injured player allowed to be in the coaches booth? 
And will there even be coaching booths given the configuration of the Wrigley 
press box?

I not worried about seeing Evan start on Saturday. I would certainly prefer that 
Persa be healthy but Evan has plenty of talent. I doubt he's as mobile as Dan 
and I know he'll make some rookie mistakes but I also think we'll see a 45-yard 
bomb to Ebert that will get everyone excited. I'm more concerned about Watkins 
missing a play in the remaining three games that would cause us to burn a 
freshman QB's redshirt year. I hope we can avoid that.
