I think that the 'Cats got some benefit from the following today which they
didn't get in their 3 losses: heart, execution, and luck.  Against PSU, they
just got out-executed in the second half.  Against MSU, luck wasn't on their
side (Peters tipped the game-winning TD into the MSU receiver's hands).  And
against Purdue, the heart just wasn't there - 2 missed 4th quarter FGs.

Like many others have said, "you are what your record says you are" and I
believe that goes for the 'Cats this year.  Yes, they had a chance to win
those 3 games they lost, but they also had a chance to lose all but 2 of the
games that they have won.  In the end, they are a competitive team that has
shown it can play with anyone and has enough in the tank to win the majority
of the time.

As others have mentioned, this is a relatively young team and, hopefully
with Persa fully rehabbed and back at the helm next season, this will be a
formidable team in 2011.  Until then, there are still 3 more games in 2010
and I believe Watkins will surprise many in the coming weeks.
