It's a great idea, but WWSD? What would Steven do?:)

Iowa- I don't see it. Problems in our offensive line and defensive secondary have been identified and exposed. While I don't think Iowa is Ohio St., or Wisconsin for that matter, they'll grind out a 20-13 win. I think our best shot is Illinois; I feel an ole' fashion orange crash-n-burn has commenced. If we go 7-5 and win our bowl, I'll say we the season was a success; I'll also say we slipped back a peg. If we go 6-7 or 7-6, I'll say it's better than 2006 or 2002, in which we we're really bad. Not bad for a "down" year.
This group reminds me of 2007 and 1997; teams that were competitive, but for some reason or other, couldn't get over "the hump". Still, at worst, 6-6, we'll go to a bowl somewhere, even if its the Toilet Bowl vs. Podunk St.; proud members of the Northeast Arkansas Athletic Conference. The extra practices, and chance to break the bowl drought will still count for something.

     GO CATS!!! Eric

For all you BCS-haters out there, I ask that you give my unique college

football playoff proposal a look and let me know what you think:

Yes, I know it's unrealistic/unlikely, but I think it would be quite

entertaining.
