[NU Sports] Sweet day for the Big Ten ...

Sweet to see the Big Ten go 2-0 vs. the ACC today to get two teams in the Sweet 16 (great finish to MSU-Maryland!).

Even kinda sweet to see the "geeks inherit the earth" with Cornell's thrashing of Wisconsin (not good for the league, though) ... would be even sweeter to see the Big Red roll over the anti-Cornell, Kentucky and Calipari, in the Sweet 16 (if for no other reason than to save us a vacated Kentucky Final Four in a few years).

Hopefully Purdue can step it up against ATM.

In any case, it'd be nice if we can get a Final Four team yet again for the league and maybe then people will start putting the Big Ten in the conversation with ACC, Big East and Big XII for top league (how did the Big XII dart into the top tier for football and hoops the past few years again???) so we can go 6-7-8 deep in bids and the Wildcats get bubble talk when they have 20 wins and get a clear invite next year.
