[NU Sports] Lame

IMHO

You can consider Luka a Forward, which gives NU a 3 forward offense with him in the
middle.

I'm sure they figured Crowley to be that Big guy in the center, who comes up to the top of
the key, and is the inside passing guy. I think the center role in BC's offense is a lot
more complicated than most - Crowley needed a year or two more of secondary school work to
give him the instincts on D to even have a chance in our very complicated system.

HOWEVER....

Even Jennings was inconsistent until his Junior year. I remember asking BC about his
grabbing a bunch of rebounds and he responded with the "blind squirrel" story. Until AJ
developed his 3 point stroke, he was always questionable in the middle.

The Vedran teams also struggled without a true center - a whole bunch of forwards played
there but we've never really had a BC style center since Jennings.

Yes, having back troubles--apparently that's been going on for a while now.

The back problem severely limited him against Purdue, which may have been the difference
in the game. His passing skills really help make our offense flow, and his absence was
noticeable.
