:) - thankfully, our teams were idle on this first day of March Madness -- the first real "madness" we've had in the first round in quite some time.

Maybe we should only play each team in our league once like the Big East ... inflate our records, get 8 teams in the tourney, have everyone believe we're the best league in the land by far only to have a frickin' #3, #6 and #6 seed all blow their openers and #2 barely survive TO RUIN MY BRACKET!!!

But I'm not bitter!:) I knew better than to believe in the SEC (outside of Kentucky), and felt the Big XII was inflated, but I was sure the Big East was legit. Oh well.

Hopefully the Big Ten performs well tomorrow ... still puzzled why Wisky or Purdue isn't in Milwaukee instead of Pitt, but Georgetown's loss certainly opens a path for Evan Turne, er, Ohio State to make it to that Midwest mega-final against Kansas. Should be real interesting to see how Purdue and MSU come out tomorrow.

Congrats to the women's team tonight! Good to see one group of Cats win in the NIT. Now let's hope next year WE are in this Madness!
