[NU Sports] Are 'Cats NIT Bound?

Maybe this season's greatest subtle accomplishment is the raised expectation - that people/we say "when..." rather than IF..." :)
I can't recall, in 31+ years of following the Cats, seeing a prospect of four such accomplished players on the court at the same time as Coble/Crawford/Shurna/Thompson. The rest of the league will likely be a lot tougher than this year and NU failed too frequently against the conference's weakest teams this year, but the afore-mentioned NU foursome has unprecedented legitimate firepower for the Cats, I believe (from this year to next year, the Cats basically swap Nash for Coble).

Have to agree with Paul. When we finally do make the NCAA tournament, it would mean a lot more if we made it when the field isn't so diluted. - Jim B.
