[NU Sports] At the end of the day in basketball

NU didn't get it done. That simple. Yes, 20 wins is nice and the kids played hard and there were great wins. Yes they did. 

But ....

Not good enough.  We can talk about next year but next year may not work out either. Shurna could get hurt, say.  Or someone could transfer. 

SjT was right: win the four games lost to bozos, or win the games at Illinois and Wisconsin, and NU is almost surely in. It was  there, NU blew it. This program will never amount to anything until it can beat Penn State. 

I hope NU wins the NIT and has a NCAA season next year. But I think this was a disappointing season.
