[NU Sports] NIT Question

Well I will stick my neck out and say we will get selected for the NIT

if correct,I will watch but I'm sure I won't be enthusiastic.  I think it is a loser's tourney ; at best you can only say you are #66. 

 Still it would probably be a minor plus for recruiting,experience and PR. Under either scenario let's all assume we will be in the NCAA's in 2011

I have checked all the NIT projections and not only is NU not predicted to
be in the field in any of them, they are not even in the "just missed"
section. Barring a big surprise, either NU will have to pay to play in the
CBI or the season is over. The losses to Penn St and Indiana just killed
this team's chances.
