[NU Sports] NIT Question

> Now that Golden Gophers are sitting squarely on NCAA bubble, having destroyed the Boilers today, with possibility of going dancing, even if they lose to tOSU tomorrow in Final, anybody think this increases our chances of an NIT bid, maybe even a home game?  If Minny and Illini are in the field of 64, doesn't it stand to reason that the 20-win 'Cats, with home wins over both teams, will look a lot more attractive to the "powers that be"?

Unless it's changed in recent years (now that the NCAA owns the NIT),
NIT home games were generally based on the ability to sell tickets.
