"they" used to point to the Cubbies and NU Football as two Chicago teams that never could
get it together.

Gary, Randy and Fitz took care of NU Football, giving we alums a team that is coming close
- we hope that next year is a golden one, however.

The Cats Roundball has been a disappointment forever. This year's team was on the cusp of
finally making the tourney, but to get one of the wildcard bids, they had to win 24 or
more games. In the end, they just couldn't do it with a bunch of Frosh and Sophs who ran
out of gas.

With Juice on the floor, they showed they can come back, and that drive should carry the
Cats to a better 2011. Until the end of the season it finally seemed that NU's team was
able to get the ball thru the hoop when it mattered.

Now the effort has to continue as our skinny guys fill out, and everyone works on their
shots.

Sorry, there are no good losses, only losses, as a 60 year cub fan I know  
"wait till next year" rings hollow after a while and the CATS! B Ball 
history is  a painful problem.
